This course is intended for Database Administrators and will give a hands-on perspective on the administration features and enhancements included in Oracle9i. Delegates learn how to use Oracle9i capabilities to increase database availability, to simplify database performance monitoring and tuning and to improve database manageability. The course covers security and development platform changes that delegates need to understand if applications running in databases they support use the related features
Prerequisites
Delegates must have attended O8iNFA (Oracle8i New Features for Administrators) or DBA1A (Enterprise DBA Part 1) and DBA2 (Enterprise DBA Performance Tuning).
