This class will cover the following topics: Oracle 9i Architecture, Data Dictionary, Administration, Storage structures, physical and Logical structures, Managing Undo Data, Loading data into an Oracle database, Migration Strategies, and an Introduction the Oracle Migration workbench. The topics and content covered are sufficient to prepare one for SQL Server migration to Oracle while also allowing the student to continue their Oracle education with the follow up course Oracle9i DBA Fundamentals II.
