Overview

This 4-day course provides delegates with a broad overview of new tools and technologies that can be used to create rich on-line user experiences.
Prerequisites
- Programming experience using Visual Studio 2005 is desirable.
- Web development experience is desirable.
- Good experience of HTML and either javascript or vbscript is desirable.
Delegates will
- Create Windows Sidebar gadgets.
- Use ASP.NET Ajax controls to enhance their ASP.NET web applications.
- Implement a WCF service proxy within a web application.
- Implement an dynamic RSS feeder within a web application.
- Enhance their web application with Microsoft Silverlight.
- Gain experience with Microsoft Expression Web
- Gain experience with Microsoft Expression Blend
- Develop applications using a combination of XAML and CLR-supported languages
- Understand the available deployment models including Standard and XBAP applications
