This course is designed to prepare students to install and configure a highly available cluster using HACMP for AIX 5L. Learn to design, plan, and configure a highly available cluster of IBM System p nodes running AIX 5.3 using the High Availability Cluster Multiprocessing (HACMP) 5.4 software.
Get an introduction to the basic concepts, design, and planning considerations and examine the steps necessary to configure the HACMP 5.4 startup, failover, and fallback behaviour policies.
The lectures and labs are based on HACMP V5.4
