- Self evaluation of where are you now in your career?
- Recognise the principles of SMART and SMARTER objective setting
- Set personal and career goals
- Identify driving values and a strategic plan
- Create a personal mission statement
- Complete a SWOT analysis on yourself
- State what personal initiative is and how using your initiative can benefit you
- Complete a personal initiative questionnaire and interpret the answers
- Understand the partnership model when working with your manager
- Increase the levels of empowerment entrusted to you by your manager by showing initiative
- Understand the model to use when selling your innovations to your manager
- Recognise how your personal image can impact your message
- Describe what networking is and how it can assist your strategy
