Overview
The correspondence you produce is an important part of the public face your
organisation shows. This public face will suffer if your documents are, in any way,
carelessly written, pompous, bureaucratic and difficult to understand.
When you write an e-mail, or compose a letter, you are not only communicating
information to another person – you are presenting yourself, in writing. People judge
you not only for the accuracy and completeness of your written communications, but
also for the ‘way it is put across’.
Who will benefit?
those who want to develop a fluent style of writing, to overcome common difficulties with
business writing, and to inspire confidence in producing professional documents
