Overview
This workshop will help you develop a range of advanced training techniques enabling you to build your confidence in delivering more effective training and handle a variety of challenging training scenarios.
The programme is highly interactive and participative and will give you plenty of opportunity to learn advanced training techniques and to handle a range of training situations. Accelerated learning techniques will be used throughout the course to teach and reinforce key learning points.
There will be a variety of formal and informal practical exercises. Assessment will be provided in various ways including observation of training delivery. Constructive feedback will be provided along with an individual development plan where required.
Anyone who is an experienced trainer who wishes to learn new techniques to enhance their effectiveness of delivery will benefit from attending this course.
Prerequisites
Delegates should have had experience of designing and delivering training events.
Delegates will learn how to
- state your individual learning preferences and communication styles and apply them in a training situation
- learn new questioning and listening skills
- identify ways of establishing and maintaining credibility
- state ways of building and maintaining rapport
- consider the benefits of the use of language in training
- recognise and use accelerated learning methods and techniques

- learn coping strategies for trainers and how to implement them to manage challenging scenarios
- develop more energy and charisma when delivering
