Overview
In today’s competitive environment most organisations have to make changes which affect the workforce. Sometimes changing work practices result in higher stress levels, lower morale, insecurity and a reduction in commitment and motivation. Appropriately applied counselling skills can assist staff to improve their performance and reduce absenteeism or staff turnover.
Managers and supervisors who need to be equipped with foundation counselling skills and to raise their awareness of the organisational benefits of helping staff to resolve their problems will benefit from attending this course.
Prerequisites
A minumum of 2 years experience of leading a team.
