Overview

Astonishingly, only around 20% of the UK’s four million managers are actually qualified. To enjoy the additional benefits which a respected management qualification brings, successfully complete our ‘Introductory Certificate to Team Leading’ programme.

From just a few days’ learning, these highly practical and intensive programmes empower people with a solid and proven framework of management skills. The programmes are accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (of which Xpertise is a corporate member); at the end of the training programme you will be assessed by an external verifier – and successful delegates qualify for membership of the Institute.

Membership provides many valuable benefits, including additional career status and recognition, networking opportunities to share management insights – plus more practical benefits such as access to a massive on-line library of over two million articles and journals, member networking and access to exclusive events. Members are also offered additional benefits, including a free legal helpline, professional indemnity insurance and discounted magazine subscriptions. When you are learning with Xpertise, you automatically become a student member of the Institute, and have access to many of the resources which are available to full members. The CMI membership registration fee is included in the cost of this event.

This qualification provides an introduction to the Chartered Management Institute’s Level 2 Certificate in Team leading. This certificate is intended for people who are considering a move into a role of team leader or those who are new to such a role.

Today’s Team Leaders need to focus on the day-to-day delivery of the organisation’s strategies and objectives. They need to recognise how their role and style and those of their team members, impacts on and can be utilized to optimize potential.

Equipping you with the essential skills and techniques for effective people management, personal and team motivation will assist in achieving those objectives.

The programme consists of two 2-day modules, and one1-day module, totalling five days training.

The date(s) in the above table indicates your first classroom training, following that, you will attend one 2-day and one 1-day module. Exact days will be confirmed at time of booking.
